Last Day of the Year

Ugh, the year went soooo fast.  Haven't been updating lately since haven't really had the time (mostly gaming).  I have a buttload of games I need to catch up on.  Probably will never get through all of them in my lifetime.  Been playing a bunch of Battlefield 4 and NBA 2K14 (when working) on the PS4.  I would post videos but streaming with the PS4 kinda blows (it won't archive).  I hooked up my Xbox One to my old recording setup so here's almost 45 minutes of me playing Dead Rising 3 (which is surprisingly VERY fun).

TOO MANY GAMES!!!

So PS4 is among us so is Xbox One.  Nintendo just released Super Mario 3D World and Zelda for the 3DS.  Also Elder Scrolls Online beta this weekend.  WHY IS EVERYTHING ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!

In other news.  I just upgraded my PS4 HDD with a 1TB SHDD.  After all those games (6 games total) I had about 150-160gb of space left.  I've been doing streams directly from my PS4 (awesome feature).  I'll try and post more videos here.  I love the 15 minute DVR function.  I get to catch funky bugs like these.

Playstation 4!!!

Got it, with 6 games (Amazon + Target B2G1 free bought with rewards/coupons).  Out of the 6 only have 5 in hand (Need For Speed is backordered from Amazon).  I have COD Ghosts, Killzone, BF4, AC 4, and NBA 2K14.

Some quick impressions:

• The UI is FASTER!  Much faster than PS3.  And its pretty slick.  
• There's actually party chat!!  
• I like the whole "What's New" thing, kinda like a twitter/facebook feed
• I love the broadcasting and share stuff
• The controller is more comfortable, not sure about the touchpad on it though
• The web browser on this thing is actually good (I like the Wii U one better)
• Hate that you can't upload videos directly to YouTube
• The included headset is HORRIBLE LOL
• Finally PSN PROBLEMS LOL!  Can't really be avoided though, same thing happened with Wii U and will probably with Xbox One.

PS4 Launch Week!

Just got back from vacation a few days ago (from the Philippines - just missed the typhoon by 24 hrs).  Can't wait till Friday!  I'll maybe post something when I do get it (videos or what not).  Here's a trip back to the Sony E3 conference.

More crowded than last year.  Didn't take as many pictures though.  Oh well.  Maybe next year (hoping I can go to SDCC again).

GTA Online = Broken

So, yea... My character was originally a guy hated how he looked like and created a 2nd guy.  Next time I log on my 1st guy is a girl with all stats to zero... hmm..

GTA: Online FINALLY

GTA Online FINALLY WORKS on the 360.  Looks to be good times ahead.  Here's me teaming with my 2 bros.

Final Fantasy XIV!

The game is great so far!  If you love the Final Fantasy series, you'll love this.  Even more if you like MMORPG or are just tired of WoW.  Some things I like:

- FATES - basically random world events
- Duty Finder - YES!  SWTOR would've been a hundred times better if it had this from the start
- One character = ALL YOUR ALTS - because you can switch classes anytime
- Runs good on my old laptop!
- I like the crafting system
- Graphics are nice!
- Jobs!!

Some things I hate:
- WTF WORLD IS FULL (hopefully this won't be happening next week)
- Still instanced separated areas instead of one FULL world
- Stupid quirks - like unable to talk to NPCs while mounted, the inventory system is a mess, pets are stupid and doesn't control well, and there are others...

Pikmin 3

FINALLY A WII U GAME!!  FINALLY!  Great game so far.  I've only played Pikmin 2 and I don't think I ever finished it.  I tried playing with just the gamepad and it feels impossible to control properly.  Good thing I have a Wii Motion+ remote.  I'll be streaming on and off so feel free to watch (if I remember to turn on my stream).  I've uploaded my first Pikmin stream to Youtube, which you can view below.
